MICHAEL Michael Kors

Michael David Kors was born after the 5 year old Karl Anderson Jr chose a new name because his mother remarried. In the 1970’s he moved to New York City to pursue his dreams at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Although he loved the city, Kors dropped out after two semesters and soon began working for a fashion boutique where he was able to design his first collection. The success from this collection allowed him to create his own fashion line that has become a household name across the world.
